Virtual “Time To Listen” Courses Booking Now Open!

We are pleased to announce that we will be running a number of virtual Time to Listen courses in October and November to allow clubs to revalidate or certify new Club Welfare Officers.

The Time To Listen training consists of 3 modules that will be delivered over 2 days, 1 week apart. Each session will start at 18:30 and will run until approximately 20:30 each evening. We have the capacity to arrange more training if there is the demand.

Learning Objectives

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

1. Identify what a club welfare officer does,
2. Describe how a club welfare officer works with others to create a child centred environment,
3. Explain how the club welfare officer role fits into the wider safeguarding environment,
4. Apply learning to case studies including sharing good safeguarding practice.

Course Structure

The course takes place over two sessions and will incorporate three modules using a virtual classroom setting to enable you to complete this from your own home. There is a one-week gap between the two sessions to support action planning. All 3 Modules must be completed.

All 3 modules must be completed to complete the course.

The course will cost £25.00 to complete with a maximum of 12 students permitting per course.
