Student Voucher Scheme Open For 2019 Applicants!
Introduced by the British Judo Association in 2012, the Student Voucher Scheme (SVS) is a membership offer specifically for University students within in England who are starting Judo for the first time or returning to the sport.
The scheme provides everything you need to start your training and includes:
- Beginners Judo suit (Judogi) – in white
- 1-year full membership to the British Judo Association
- Your first grading for FREE
*RRP is based on a suit order size of 200cm.

If your University wishes to be involved in this year’s SVS programme, please complete the following online club registration. Who is eligible for SVS?
The Student Voucher Scheme is open to anyone aged 18 years and older who is enrolled on a full or part time course at an English-based university that’s also registered with the British Judo Association. You must not currently hold a British Judo Association Licence or have held one within the past two years.
Participant sign up?
To sign up for this year’s SVS programme please download the sign-up guide below and complete your registration online via The Dojo – British Judo’s member management tool. Please ensure you have chosen your suit size (guidance below) and have a valid payment card to place your order.

Please note, suit exchanges will incur a delivery fee and are subject to the return of incorrect items that have not been worn and in original packaging.
