England Talent Development Coaching Appointments

0 26

We are pleased to announce three changes to our coaching staff positions:

• Sophie Cox – England Talent Development Coach (full-time)
• Jason Parsons – England Talent Development Coach (full-time)
• Simon Moss – England Talent Development Coach (full-time) **

Sophie will be acting up as interim lead coach until 30th September 2019 when the post will be reviewed.

We would like to ask everyone to congratulate these coaches on their appointments and support them in their endeavours to work with clubs, personal coaches and players to ensure current and future players are prepared well as they progress through the performance pathway.

** Simon is currently on leave until September and will take up his new position when he returns to work.

Joyce Heron, Deputy Sport Director was delighted that all coaches accepted their positions when offered to them. “Over the last 18 month they have proved themselves a real asset to the team and I am sure they will continue to support our pathway and players in a way that will enable them to move into elite performance.”

If you would like to discuss anything regarding England Talent Development or want to offer support Sophie (sophie.cox@britishjudo.org.uk) and Jason (jason.parsons@britishjudo.org.uk) will welcome your input.
