Trail Smoke Eaters Announce Signing of Forward Alex Ostrovskyy

Trail, British Columbia (January 29, 2026) — The Trail Smoke Eaters are excited to announce the signing of forward Alex Ostrovskyy for the 2026-27 season.

Standing 5’10″ and shooting left, Ostrovskyy brings a competitive edge and offensive skill to the Smoke Eaters lineup. Last season with STAR Hockey Academy U17 Prep, he posted 24 goals and 24 assists for 48 points in 39 games in CSSHL U17 competition, showing a strong scoring presence and consistent production. This season with Yale Hockey Academy U18 Prep, Alex has continued to contribute offensively this season with 9 goals and 9 assists in 19 games.
