Do You Own a Radio?

I was listening to a podcast this afternoon where the host openly wondered if anyone still owns a radio.

I own a radio. In fact, five of them.

There's a radio in my kitchen, currently tuned to 99.1. There's another in the upstairs bathroom, also tuned to 99.1. I put that one on while I shower.

There's a clock radio in my bedroom, but I haven't actually ever used that radio. It just came with the clock. In my basement, in the TMDS studio, there's a CD player that has a radio. I have this idea where I record myself scanning Toronto stations and reacting in real-time, then dropping that audio into the Toronto Mike'd podcast feed.

And finally, there's a radio in our car. It's actualy my wife's car, but she does let me borrow it occasionally. She has one FM band, tuned to her 6 favourite stations, and I have my FM band, tuned to my 6 favourite stations.

So that's five functioning radios.
