When $11 Is Actually $21

0 14

I wouldn't consider myself a big fan of The Who. I've never bought any albums, although I did rip their greatest hits CD to MP3 in the early 2000s. And of course, because I'm a pop culture savvy adult on planet Earth, I know several of their songs. But when I heard The Who were on their farewell tour, I didn't consider buying a ticket.

Then, a pizza chain shared a code that would get you a lawn ticket for $11.11. Eleven bucks to bike to the Freshwater Stage to see The Who under the stars sounds like a great deal. I bit.

It turns out there's a $6 venue charge and a $4 convenience charge added on, so $11.11 is actually $21.11. But $21.11 to bike to the Freshwater Stage to see The Who under the stars still sounds like a great deal.

So that's where you'll find me August 2nd.
