Kings strengthen goaltending with addition of Pratt

The Kings are proud to announce the signing of 2005 born goaltender Elliot Pratt.

Pratt is out of Toronto but has spent time in Pittsburgh with the Penguins Elite program for 2 years, before he headed west to play in the Alberta Junior Hockey League last season playing for the Sherwood Park Crusaders and Camrose Kodiaks where he was teammates with current King Wyatt Davis in Camrose. Overall Pratt played in 22 regular season games in the AJHL posting a 8-10-1 record with a 3.67 GAA and a .899 SV% to go along with 2 shutouts. In the playoff’s he upped his game reducing his GAA to 3.08 and increasing his save percentage posting a .942 in 8 games.

The 19 year old is committed to Robert Morris University and is a big and agile goaltender standing at 6 feet 4 inches tall. “Elliot is a big bodied, smooth moving netminder who plays with a lot of poise in net, takes up a lot of the net and likes to challenge shooters” states Assistant G.M. Stephan Seeger Jr. “We love Elliot’s compete and size in the net, as well as his calm demeanor off the ice are all great assets we are happy to add to our locker room. Coming off a great 18 year old year in Camrose we are super excited to see his transition into the BCHL.”
