Vipers Acquire Keeghan Dunn from Cowichan

0 2

Vernon, BC:  The Vernon Vipers are pleased to announce they have acquired 2007-born forward Keeghan Dunn from the Cowichan Valley Capitals in exchange for future considerations.

“Keeghan has some experience under his belt from last season as a sixteen year old, but is still a young player,” says Head Coach of the Vipers Lukas Lomicky.  “We think he has a bright future in this league and we’re excited to have a chance to work with him.  Keeghan is a type of player who likes to play on the edge and also has a good offensive skill set.”

Dunn, from Richmond BC, spent last season with the Cowichan Valley Capitals suiting up for 26 games and scoring 3 goals while pitching in with a helper.  In 2022-23 he played with the Delta Hockey Academy U17 Prep team where he scored 11 goals and 15 assists.

“I’m very excited to be a part of the Vernon Vipers organization and I would like to thank owners John and Tom Glen, as well as coaches Lukas Lomicky and Colton Sparrow to making this possible,” says Dunn.  “I’ve heard nothing but great things about the hockey program and the city of Vernon, so I can’t wait to get started.”

Dunn is 6’1, 184 pounds and shoots right.

Please join us in welcoming Keeghan and his family to the Vipers organization.
