Vipers Sign 20 Year Old Carter Streek

0 7

Vernon, BC:  The Vernon Vipers are pleased to announce the signing of 20 year old forward Carter Streek.

“We’re thrilled to add a veteran player like Carter to our group,” says Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Lukas Lomicky.  “After our conversation, we knew he would be a perfect fit and the type of person we were looking for.  He is extremely motivated to come in and bring competitiveness, offensive skill set and leadership thanks to his almost two hundred junior games. “

Streek, the Kamloops product has spent the last four seasons in the WHL split between Saskatoon and Spokane.  He’s suited up for 193 regular season games.  He also played one game with the Vipers as an “AP” in 2019-2020.

“I’m beyond excited to play for the Vipers this season,” says Streek.  “I played my first junior game in a Vipers jersey at 15 year old, so to have the chance to play in Vernon again is a huge opportunity and privilege.  I’m excited for the season to get underway and play in front of a great fan base.”

Streek is 5’7 and 165 pounds and shoots left.

Please join us in welcoming Carter and his family to the Vipers organization.
