Smokies Acquire Sundar from Saints

Trail, British Columbia (June 25, 2024) – The Trail Smoke Eaters have acquired 2005 Forward Evan Sundar from the Spruce Grove Saints in exchange for 2005 defenceman, Brody Juck.

Sundar is entering his 3rd season of junior hockey and is from St. Albert, Alberta. Last season with the Saints in the BCHL/AJHL combined, Evan scored 12 goals and added 25 assists for 37 points. He is committed Minnesota State University (NCAA).

The Smoke Eaters organization would like to welcome Evan and his family to the city of Trail and look forward to having him join the Smokies. The team would like to thank Brody for his time as a Smoke Eater and wish him well in Spruce Grove.
