Chase Stefanek 2024 NHL Draft Prospect

Trail, British Columbia (April 16, 2024) – NHL Central Scouting released its Final Rankings today ahead of the NHL Entry Draft in June and 15 current, future and former BCHL players are included on the list, including Trail Smoke Eaters forward, Chase Stefanek.

10 names on the list are current BCHL players, four are committed to BCHL teams next year and one is a former member of the league.

The highest ranked skater is West Kelowna Warriors forward Jack Pridham who comes in as the 65th ranked North American skater after moving up five spots from the Midterm Rankings.

The NHL Draft takes place June 28 and 29 at the Sphere in Las Vegas, Nev.

Last year, nine current, former and future BCHL players were selected in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft, including two in the first round when Victoria Grizzlies alumnus Matthew Wood was taken 15th overall by the Nashville Predators and former Penticton Vees forward Bradly Nadeau was selected 30th overall by the Carolina Hurricanes.
