Be My Baby v. Don't Worry Baby

"Be My Baby" is undoubtedly one of the greatest pop records of all-time. The Ronettes recorded it in 1963 and peaked at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100. Here it is, although you're likely singing it in your head already.

Brian Wilson was obsessed with "Be My Baby". His response was to write "Don't Worry Baby" and his original intent was for the Ronettes to record it, but their producer Phil Spector said no. That left it for Brian Wilson's band to record it. Here's "Don't Worry Baby" by The Beach Boys.

Similar in sound and style, but both gorgeous in their own right. "Don't Worry Baby" was issued as the B-side to their single "I Get Around".
