Woah there Andrew, don’t get too excited.

The seventh edition of the popular series kicks off next week!

We are in the doldrums of summer and there’s not much going on.

Yes, kids it’s time for that annual party we hold every summer: Arguing about arbitrary rankings of Toronto Maple Leafs under a randomly picked age. Okay it’s probably not random, but I just took over this thing last year, and I never got into the backstory.

So, it’s time to get down to it. The schedule is this:

Tomorrow I’ll recap the 2017 list and see where we were absolutely right, and where we ranked with our hearts, not our heads.

Next week opens with the players who disappeared from our list because of age or trade, those players who received no votes, and the ones who just didn’t make the cut.

Then, on Monday July 30th #25 gets reveled. That lucky player will join the ranks of such luminaries as Luca Caputi (Now assistant coach with the OHL Kingston Frontenacs), Andrew Crescenzi (who actually played in the NHL for the Kings last year), Kenny Ryan (9 games in the ECHL last season), Dominic Toninato (declined a contract with the Leafs for the Avalanche), Chris Gibson (1/5th of Michael Grabner), Yegor Korshkov (Doing pretty well actually) and the fake tie between Rinat Valiev (now a filthy Hab) and Joseph Woll (Still getting votes!).

It goes on and on and on for four weeks, with number one coming out at the end of August, just before the start of training camp.
