[Men's Golf] Hurn misses cut at NAIA Golf Nationals

SILVIS, IL- The St. Andrews junior men's golfer Joe Hurn (JR/Mountaintop, PA), unfortunately, fell short in his bid to make the cut at the NAIA National Tournament at the TPC at Deere Run in Silvis, IL this week.

Hurn shot a quality 79 (+8) in round one to place in the top 80 out of 160 golfers before falling back to a 92 in round two, which took two days to complete due to the inclement weather in Illinois.

However, because of the suspended second round, the tournament cut was shortened to two rounds instead of the original three meaning Hurn did not make it to the final two rounds. Hurn finished with a 171 (+29) over two rounds.
