[Men's Golf] Ross leads CMU golfers at Heart Championship

BOONVILLE, Mo. – Central Methodist University senior golfer Brendan Ross improved his play from an opening-round 76 to a second-round one-over-par 72 on Monday and stayed in contention for an all-conference honor at the 2017 Heart of America Athletic Conference Men's Golf Championship held here at Hail Ridge Golf Course.

Ross moved up from a tie for tenth place to a tie for seventh place heading into Tuesday's final round, as he finished with a six-over-par 148 for the tournament. He is just two strokes out of fifth place and a spot on the all-conference team.
