[Men's Golf] MACU Men's Golf Adds Nick McRoberts for the Fall 2017 Season

OKLAHOMA CITY – Mid-America Christian University Men's Golf head coach Allen Dukes has announced the addition of Nick McRoberts to the program, starting with the 2017 fall season.

McRoberts will be an incoming freshman out of Middletown, Ohio.

Playing for Middletown Christian High School, McRoberts was chosen as the 2016 team MVP and was a two-time first-team all-conference performer while also being a District Qualifier.

He also competed on the school's swim team and earned two team MVP selections.

Solid in the classroom, McRoberts was a member of the Honor Roll, Straight A Club and a three-year board member for the Community Youth Foundation.

"Nick visited our campus last summer and has wanted to attend MACU ever since," Dukes said.

"He has made rapid improvements to his golf game throughout his senior year in high school. I believe Nick could very well be a sleeper in the MACU golf program for the next four years."

The Evangels are coming off a third-place finish at the Spring Cavalier Classic last week (Apr. 4) and are now gearing up for the Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament, to be held Apr. 24-25 at the Gaillardia Country Club in OKC.
