Winter Team League

With the start of the new golf season rapidly approaching, this weekend sees the culmination of the Winter Team League. Participants are asked to book their slots early and are reminded there must have the full compliment of four players otherwise their score will not count and also be aware that the teams must be spilt up I.e. all four members cannot play together. The over the hill gang are red hot favourites for this as they have regularly posted four excellent scores over the winter period and host the individual Winter Singles winner the indomitable Kieran Bergin among their ranks. Nothing is certain in golf however, and there are a number of teams waiting in the long grass for them, although perhaps they’d have a better chance of catching the pensioners if they were in the short grass. How and ever, all will be revealed come Saturday, and the very best of luck to all taking part.
