Golf Influencer Paige Spiranac Has Landed a New Job

0 4

Paige Spiranac has taken a new job in the golf world, she confirmed this week.

Spiranac, the most popular golf social media influencer, has been hired into a front office role for the Grass League, a high-stakes Par 3 golf outfit. Earlier this month, the 32-year-old previously served as the social media correspondent for the first event of the Grass League's second season.

For her full-time position, Spiranac will be focusing on various aspects of strategic leadership.

"I will be focusing on brand development, fan engagement, marketing, content strategy, seeking out new talent, team owners and acquiring sponsorship," Spiranac said in a YouTube video. "This is really exciting for me and I feel like this is part of the next stage of my career. But don’t you worry, this will not take away from anything else I’m currently doing, it is only going to add to it."

Spiranac, who boasts more than 11 million followers across all of her platforms, also praised the "synergy" between her personal brand and the Grass League, which welcomed her into the fold officially on Wednesday.

"We are honored to announce @_paige.renee has joined the Grass League front office," the organization said on Instagram. "Paige is THE OG golf influencer, a great person, golfer, businesswoman, and has an incredible mind for new age sports media. We are excited to have Paige on the team, and look forward to working together to shape the future of golf."

Featuring 11 different franchises throughout the United States and Canada, the Grass League consists of former and current pros, top-level amateurs and LPGA players.

Spiranac has already built up a social media and business empire with her current content strategy, and now she can combine that with her Grass League work to take her career to a new level.

"I basically woke up one day and I was like, my longevity in the business that I built speaks for itself. I have a talent of marketing and brand development and I want to do something with that," Spiranac said.

"Yes, my brand is sexy, it's cheeky, it's fun. I play into that, but I also have so many good ideas of what golf could be. I just feel like there's so much untapped potential for me."
