Junior Cowdy 2025 – First Round, First Leg Match Report

Loughgall Golf Club travelled to Kilkeel on Saturday for the first leg of their Junior Cowdy 2025 first round tie. Despite a slow start and losing the opening match, Loughgall rallied strongly to secure a narrow advantage, taking a 2.5 to 1.5 lead into the second leg.

The fixture was keenly contested throughout, with both teams displaying quality golf and strong sportsmanship. Each match was tight and hard-fought, reflecting the competitive spirit of the competition.

The return leg will be played this coming Sunday 18th May at Loughgall, where everything is still to play for. With just one point separating the sides, both teams will be eyeing progression to the next round in what promises to be an exciting second leg.
