Recap of Winter Renovation Project at Rivers Edge Golf Club
As the spring season is in full swing and the grass continues to grow beautifully, we wanted to take a moment to look back on the major renovation work completed this past winter here at Rivers Edge Golf Club.
Kicking off on November 13, 2024, the project focused on restoring the bulkheads and returning them to the original 1999 Arnold Palmer design that made Rivers Edge such a standout. On holes 9, 15, and 18, we rebuilt and reinforced these signature elements, not only to recapture the visual drama of the original design but also to ensure the long-term stability and playability of these key holes. As part of this work, we expanded several surrounding areas that had shifted or eroded over the years. These spaces now feature new turf grass.
On hole 15, we replaced the artificial turf on the forward tee boxes with natural grass turf — a small but meaningful improvement that enhances the overall player experience.
In addition to the bulkhead and turf updates, we completed much-needed bridge work on holes 3, 9, 15, and 17, reinforcing these structures for safe and lasting use.
It was a busy and productive winter at Rivers Edge, and it’s been incredibly rewarding to see everything take shape and settle in over the past few months. The course is looking and playing better than ever — and we’re just getting started on what’s shaping up to be an exciting season ahead.
