A woman was airlifted to hospital after a police chase led to a serious collision at a championship golf course in Birmingham.
Up to 10 police cars and ambulances are at Aston Wood Golf Club, on Blake Street, in Little Aston after a black van was seen speeding away from police.

A woman is now fighting for her life after being hit by a van by the golf course, which runs next to Blake Street.
Tom, a butcher at nearby Pat’s Butchers, told Metro: ‘We did see all the commotion outside the front.
‘A black van came racing through our car park then he went up Clarence Road, he managed to turn himself around and shot up rosemary hill road.
‘He spun around on one of the back streets and then went down to the golf course.
‘Good job no one was in our car park or they would have been mowed down.’
West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed they were called to ‘a road traffic collision involving a van and a pedestrian nearby to Blake Street, Little Aston in Sutton Coldfield’ at 10:26am this morning.
They added: ‘Upon arrival we found a woman who was the pedestrian with life-threatening injuries in a critical condition.
‘Ambulance staff quickly began administering advanced life support and advanced trauma care to her at the scene which continued en route to Queen Elizabeth Hospital where she was conveyed via air ambulance for further treatment.
‘No further patients required treatment.’
Local Tom added: ‘It is quite upsetting it is a beautiful area, you do not expect these things to happen around here.
‘It is upsetting for the whole community.’
One woman, who was waiting Blake Street train station at around 10.30am, said she heard someone shouting for ‘help’ from the golf club.
Another local shop worker told Metro: ‘All we saw was the police cars, ambulances and unmarked cars whizzing around the area.
‘You can hear the police helicopter but police presence on the road had all gone within an hour.’
Metro has contacted West Midlands Police for comment.
