End of Year Golf Activities
The last four months of the year should bring comfortable temperatures for playing golf with your fellow members and guests. Here’s a rundown of the exciting events coming up:
September Merchandise Sales
Each weekend in September will feature deeply discounted merchandise categories.
- First Weekend: Shoes
Hutch Cup Match Play Events
The Individual Hutch Cup Match Play Events are ongoing, with two divisions:
- Gross Division Bracket:
Semi-final matches feature four of the best golfers in the club:- Dalton Johnson vs. Eric Phillips
- Jordan Harlacher vs. Hal Johnson
- Net Division Bracket:
Three matches are scheduled:- Brad Thigpen vs. James Walker
- Jake Wilkes vs. Adam Bailey
- Jeff Rutledge vs. Josh Smith
Bracketed Event Boards are located outside the golf shop.
Brick Cup Finale
The end-of-the-year Brick Cup Finale will be played on Saturday, November 9th. The top two members with the highest point totals will captain their teams in the finale. Points are earned by participating in Member Tournaments and placing in events.
- Current standings have Brad Thigpen and his dad, Larry, tied at the top with 94 points.
- Three events remain before the finale.
Club Championship
The Club Championship will be held on September 7th-8th, and there is still time to sign up! This year’s enhancements have already brought in 20 more participants than last year.
- Sign-up Deadline: Wednesday, September 4th, at 5 PM
Member-Guest Tournament
The Member-Guest will be held from October 3rd-6th.
- Thursday, October 3rd: Practice Round Day, followed by the Par 3 Tournament at 4 PM
- The event reached 60 teams within 4 days, and after a unanimous vote, the field has been expanded to 66 teams, creating 11 flights with 6 teams in each.
- The waitlist currently has 8 teams.
Senior Member-Guest Event
The Senior Member-Guest will be a one-day event played on Tuesday, October 15th, at 10 AM.
- Format: Scramble on the Front 9, Shamble on the Back 9
- Members will receive all the details in a Sunday email, and sign-ups will begin on Monday, September 2nd.
Club Fitting Event
Our next club fitting will feature TaylorMade Golf on Wednesday, September 11th, from 11 AM-3 PM. Appointments can be made through the email sent on Friday, August 30th.
Member Birthday Rewards Program
Now in its ninth month, the Member Birthday Rewards Program offers members an additional 20% off the Brickyard Member Price on in-stock merchandise during their birthday month.

Tee Time and Course Etiquette
Please make it a priority to cancel your tee times if you’re unable to use them. You can do this by either calling the golf shop or cancelling online.

Tee Time Reservations:
Tee times can be made up to 10 days in advance, either by calling the golf shop or reserving online through our website. -
Daily Sign-In:
Remember to sign in on the Daily Sign-In Sheet when you arrive at the golf shop. -
Booking for Multiple Players:
When reserving a tee time, whether by phone or online, make sure to book it for the correct number of players (one to five) and enter all players’ names. This helps prevent other members from booking on your time slot and ensures that NO SHOWS are avoided.
