Well done to Karl & Davie – another great day @Greystonesgolfclub.
Many thanks especially to all the players and supporters of this deserving cause, over €15,000 was raised yesterday for Children’s Health Foundation – Crumlin.
The weather was a little unkind to the afternoon players in particular but spirits were high after the golf with the very famous Gunter (AKA Barry Murphy) on hand to do the prize giving and the auction. Live music by The Water Gypsies followed and a great club night was had by all.
Yesterday, the final day of Open Week, was sponsored by our 2023 major events sponsors, Gino’s Gelato & Newcastle Design and we thank them for their continued support.
The overall winners were Chris Boylan, Will O’Riordan, Ray Crotty & Keith McDonnell (50.5), with Regina Barry, Dermot Barry, Eoin Duane and Vincent Prendergast (53.75) taking the mixed prize and Orla Rush, Anne Browner, Susan O’Dwyer and Aine O’Rourke (59.875) coming first in the all-ladies section.
