Reidy makes his points count
Kieran Reidy won the 14-Hole Singles Stableford competition which was held over the weekend of January 22 and 23.
Playing off 14 he had four consecutive three point pars from the third and then finished the front nine with a birdie two at the par three ninth. Four more three point pars following down the back nine along with a two point bogey at the 13th.
That left him on 37pts and it was enough to edge out Colm Garvey (16) who came home in 36pts after a round that included a four point par at the index one fourth and a four point birdie at the par five 10th.
Divisional winners were Charlie Monahan (9), Ciaran McAteer (15) and Adrian Corcoran (18) while Peter Rogers (1) returned the day’s best gross score of 30pts with a round that included four brides.
