DANIELS, W.Va. - University of Rio Grande junior Jacob Calvin carded a final round 4-over par 76 on Tuesday to take medalist honors in The Golden Bear Classic, hosted by West Virginia University-Tech, at The Resort at Glade Springs' Cobb Course.
Calvin, who hails from Chillicothe, Ohio, held on to his two-shot first round lead and edged Patrick Dodson of Bluefield College by one shot with a 36-hole total of 4-over 148.
WVU-Tech's Nicholas Eroles was third at 7-over 151.
As a team, Rio Grande finished fourth in the seven-team event at 57-over par 633.
