[Women's Golf] Kilbane wins CCAC Tournament; Qualifies for Nationals
Homewood, Ill. – Freshman Hannah Kilbane (Orland Park, Ill./Sandburg) took home the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Women's Golf Tournament Championship, the first Cougars since former All-American Taylor Thompson (2014-17) won the tournament in 2014, shot a two-day score of 157 (80, 77) at Ravisloe Country Club in Homewood, Ill. After Day One, Kilbane was two shots behind the leader and erased the deficit and won the tournament by five strokes Friday afternoon. It's the first time since 2015 when SXU won the CCAC Team Title that Saint Xavier will have a golfer compete at the National Championship Tournament. It is also the second time that the Cougars had an individual win the CCAC Tournament. Thompson claimed the title as a freshman in 2014.
