Letter From Zehnder’s CEO, Al Zehnder

I’m over it. We’re over it. And as I speak with many of our guests, they are over it as well. This nearly year long environment of lockdowns and restrictions have produced, in my estimation, a statewide case of cabin fever. As case counts and statewide positivity rates continue to decline and as vaccinations are on the rise (I’m scheduled for my first shot March 3), I’m feeling we are on a positive trajectory in getting this over with.

I spoke with a couple from Livonia today. They shared with me that this was their first dining experience, in almost a year, since the first lockdown. They had just had it sitting at home. It was time to get out. I was humbled that they chose Zehnder’s as hundreds of options were much closer.

So, for those of you that are ready, believe me, we are ready for you. The friendly smile, the warm greeting, the familiar faces. They’re all still here. Waiting for you.
