The Stage is set for outstanding 2016

For the first time in history, Southern Living and Ideal Living magazines have awarded one community!  And it took a community as special as Bay Creek to make it happen.

Southern Living magazine has selected Bay Creek for its Inspired Community program, a prestigious designation previously awarded to only 14 others communities that have made the commitment to preserving the best of Southern architecture, lifestyle and traditions.

At the same time, Ideal Living Magazine has designated Bay Creek as the Summer 2016 Ideal Living Destination Community, featuring four spectacular homes under construction in Bayside Village on the Chesapeake Bay, with completion scheduled by late spring.

The homes are designed by two of the country’s best architects – Suzanne Stern of Our Town Plans of Peachtree City, GA and Allison-Ramsey Architects of Beaufort, SC.

Construction is by four of the region’s top custom builders – Simpson Builders of Norfolk; Schneider Custom Builders of Norfolk; L.J. Kellam Construction of Belle Haven, VA; and Homes by Gateway of New Church, VA.

But the good news for 2015 did not stop with the Southern Living and Ideal Living designations. We also enjoyed a significant upswing in sales, new home construction and traffic from prospective buyers, all of which added up to Bay Creek’s best year since the market downturn of 2008.
