Kilbrannan Shield Winners

An excellent turnout of 19 teams competed for the Kilbrannan Shield today in an Open Mixed Texas Scramble, kindly sponsored by Kintyre Gin.  The early starters were lucky to have the better weather as the rain moved in late morning and carried on throughout the afternoon.  We were delighted to welcome Team Dutton from USA – our furthest travelled competitors Mike (Maine), Jeff (Alabama) and Andrew (Massachusetts). The social gathering post the game in the clubhouse proved very popular as teams awaited the final golfers returning.  The overall winners and runners up were all Carradale Golf Club members, with a team from Old Runfurly taking 3rd place.
