[Men's Golf] 10th-Ranked Point Men's Golf Takes Third at Sand Shark Invitational

OKATIE, S.C. -- The Point University men's golf team, coached by Steven Paine (fifth season) and ranked 10th in the NAIA National Top 25 Coaches' poll and 10th in the Bushnell Golfweek NAIA Coaches Poll, finished third among 14 NAIA programs with a total of 587 strokes (+11) for 36 holes at the Sand Shark Invitational hosted by University of South Carolina-Beaufort, March 4-5 at the Oldfield Golf Club in Okatie, S.C.  A total of 78 golfers and nine NAIA Top 25 teams teed off on the par 72, 7124-yard course.  The tournament's third 18-hole round on March 5 was rained out.
