[All Sports] @MadonnaU Plans Golf Fundraiser to Build Memorial Press Box

LIVONIA, Mich. – Two years ago the Madonna University family lost alumnus and long-time Sports Information Director (SID) Patrick Moore at age 36. His colleagues mourned a professional gone too soon. Today, on the anniversary of his passing, University administrators and athletic staff are proud to announce plans to construct the Patrick Moore Memorial Press Box, for the soccer and lacrosse field, at the Madonna Athletic Complex, at the corner of Newburgh and 5 Mile Roads. To honor Moore and his legacy, the Press Box will be everything he would have wanted, so that current and future sports information directors can perform at the top of their games. In addition to private donations, the building will be funded with proceeds from a golf outing being planned for Summer 2018.
