[Men's Golf] Men's Golf Finishes 7th of 20 Teams at Kohler Classic

Kohler, Wisconsin – The Grand View University men's golf team traveled to Kohler, Wisconsin to compete at the Kohler Classic. The Vikings took to The Straits at Whistling Straits starting on October 23rd. The Vikings finished the tournament 7th on the leaderboard in a field of 20 teams. There were 4 participants ranked in the Top-15 in the NAIA Coaches' Poll.

Mitch Pfingsten (SR/Fairmont, Minnesota) led the Vikings once again. Pfingsten gained 14 spots on the second day of competition to finish in 11th-place while shooting a 151 (75-76). The Vikings as a team moved up one spot on the second day of the event.

Texas Wesleyan won the event with an overall score of 585 (279-306). Rowan Lester of Texas Wesleyan sat atop the leaderboard at the end of the tournament. Full results can be seen below.
