[Women's Golf] Women's Golf captures third place at Carey Collegiate Classic

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Lindsey Wilson women's golf team secured a third-place finish at the Carey Collegiate Classic on Tuesday after the final round of play at Canebrake Country Club.

No. 23-ranked Lindsey Wilson completed the event with a two-day total 624 (311-313) to secure their third top-three finish of the fall 2017 campaign. The Blue Raiders finished behind only No. 4-ranked and tournament winner Dalton State (Ga.), who posted a 589 (297-292), and second-place finisher and No. 13-ranked William Carey (Miss.), who carded a 596 (298-298). LWC bettered fourth-place Loyola-New Orleans (La.) by four strokes in the final standings of the 10-team tournament.
