[Men's Golf] Men's Golf Struggles in Weather Suspended Mid-South Classic

NEWTON, Kan. – The field at the Mid-South Classic is among the best in Men's Golf at the NAIA Level. Against premier competition, the Mid-America Christian University men's golf team hit the links at Sand Creek Station Golf Club, and in addition to the difficult field and course, the weather conditions were less than ideal.

MACU posted a team total of 316 first round, and when the wet weather, play was suspended with four holes complete in the second round. The decision was made to shrink the scheduled length of the event from 54 holes to 36, with a final decision on the second round to be made once course conditions are evaluated on Tuesday.
