[Men's Golf] St. Ambrose takes eighth at season-opening Klocke Family Classic

Alex Pohlmann shot a second-day 1-over 73 to grab a top-10 finish at the Klocke Family Classic hosted by Mount Mercy at Hunters Ridge Golf Course in Marion, Iowa, Sunday.

Pohlmann opened with a 76 Saturday to finish with a 149, good for 10th place in the 16-team tournament. He helped St. Ambrose finish eighth as a team.

Pohlmann was backed up by Josh Harrington and Adam Hutson, who each finished in the top 25. Harrington had rounds of 78 and 75 to finish 22nd with a 153 and Hutson was one shot back in 24th place with a 154. Hutson was in 12th place Saturday with an opening-round 74 before setting for an 80 Sunday.
