Starting to get my head around this new layout...
If you hover your cursor over the reply just below Doug OP, you'll see it will automatically post a reply with quote.
If you do not want to include a quote - move over to the lower left where in bright blue there is a button 'Post a reply' this will not include any quote.
Additionally when you open up the webpage at the top you have 'Forums' and Discussions' click Discussions and this new page will have 4 tabs at the top - one is 'Unread' so you can cut to the chase a simply go here.
However, it appears to me that because all posts have been moved over to this new site that virtually all will have the unread status as you have not read these posts on this site.
