Tickets for Republic of Ireland v Austria to go on sale

Martin O'Neill

The Football Association of Ireland can confirm that a select number of tickets for the 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifier between Republic of Ireland and Austria in Aviva Stadium will go on sale on Monday, May 8 at 11am.

Martin O'Neill's team remain joint top of Group D after five games unbeaten and this next assignment is hugely important as the second half of the qualifying campaign gets underway.

Ireland memorably overcame Austria last November in Vienna - courtesy of a neat finish from James McClean - but this home game will be even more crucial and O'Neill has called on the supporters to once again get behind the team.

The game against Austria comes exactly a week after Ireland will host Uruguay in a 'Three' International Friendly in Aviva Stadium on Sunday, June 4, which still has tickets available through Ticketmaster.ie

Supporters should also mark May 11 in their calendar as that is when the 2017/18 FAI Season Ticket will go on sale with all of the same exclusive offers included, as well as access into all Republic of Ireland Women's National Team games.

The breakdown of ticketing prices is as follows:

Republic of Ireland v Austria

Category A - €70

Category B - €50

Category C - SOLD OUT

Premium Level - €120

Child - €20

Family Ticket - SOLD OUT

*Prices exclude booking fees

Tickets for Republic of Ireland v Austria can be purchased from Monday, May 8 at 11am via Ticketmaster.ie
