Football fans react as Super Eagles defeat Poland in tough friendly encounter

Super Eagles of Nigeria on Friday night, March 23, defeated Poland 1-0 in an international friendly match which was part of their preparations for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

But Nigeria labored to get the goal that condemned Poland to a defeat in front of their fans thanks to Victor Moses who scored the penalty in the 61st minute.

Football fans have however reacted to the match with many believing that the Super Eagles must up their games before the start of the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

Earlier, NAIJ.com had reported how the Super Eagles of Nigeria defeated Poland 1 - 0 away from home in their pre World Cup clash at the Stadion Miejski Wrocławiu stadium.

The first half was a cagey affair with both side showing off their attacking side but at the end of the first 45 minute the scoreline was a barren goalless draw.

Chelsea winger Victor Moses scored the winning goal for Nigeria via a penalty in the 61st minute. Nigeria will meet Serbia in another friendly match on Tuesday, March 27.
