Chinese web giant NetEase returns to football with French deal for Russia 2018 World Cup
December 12 – The French Football Federation (FFF), has inked a content agreement with Chinese media company NetEase Media Technology.
NetEase will be a premium partner of the FFF during the 2018 World Cup in Russia. The Chinese media company will be granted exclusive content from the French national team during the tournament. This will include interviews and archived footage of matches.
Furthermore NetEase will be granted access to the trainings sessions and team press conferences in Russia.
