Supercomputer predicts Tottenham relegation odds compared to rivals, including a 0.06% contender
Tottenham Hotspur head into a crucial stage of the season with the relegation picture beginning to take shape, and the latest projections offer a revealing glimpse into how the battle could unfold.
The focus now for Roberto De Zerbi, while in the Tottenham Hotspur dugout, is to avoid relegation from the Premier League this season.
Spurs have been the worst side in the English top flight since the turn of the year but have somehow managed to stay above the relegation places, with one point the difference between themselves and 18th-placed West Ham United.
However, with the Premier League run-in approaching, the pressure is on for Spurs to improve their form, as failure to do so could well see them relegated from the top flight.
Tottenham relegation odds revealed as Crystal Palace and rivals assessed
Next up for Tottenham is Roberto De Zerbi’s first game in charge at the Stadium of Light, where his side is set to take on Sunderland.
But before the gameweek kicks off, we have taken the time to look at the relegation odds of all of Spurs’ rivals, from Crystal Palace to West Ham United.
According to Opta’s AI, the team least likely to be relegated, despite it still being mathematically possible, is Crystal Palace.
The Eagles are currently on 39 points and are ten points clear of the relegation zone with seven games to spare. As such, Oliver Glasner’s side has been handed a 0.06% chance of relegation.

Spurs and rivals face tense run-in as relegation battle tightens
Right below them sit Leeds United, who are far from safe with just four points separating them from West Ham in 18th.
Defeat at the hands of Manchester United and a win for the Hammers could see that gap cut to one point this gameweek, while, should Tottenham win, they could move above Daniel Farke’s men.
Despite that, the supercomputer has handed the newly promoted side a 6.52% chance of going down.
Nottingham Forest, in 16th place and just three points clear of the relegation places, have been given an 8.71% chance of relegation this season.
Spurs could also leapfrog Forest with a victory this gameweek, when Vitor Pereira’s men face Aston Villa, that is, if the Tricky Trees fall to a defeat.
Rounding off the list are Spurs, who have been handed a 26.17% chance of relegation, which is significantly better than London rivals West Ham United, who have been given a 58.71% chance.
