WardyMNaftiThis is a good point that I don’t think anyone really considers. The stadium for any prospective new manager or players at this point in time is an irrelevance really - it’s a minimum of 5 years away and likely 1,2,3 years longer than that.
Football being football means we’ll probably get through, I’d wager, at least another 3 managers by the time it comes around.
Davies has spoken a lot about the stadium, but there was never a chance he was going to be managing us in it. Either through sacking or being poached by someone higher up the food chain.
There is nothing to suggest at this time that a Spring 2030 completion isn't achievable.
These massive construction projects take ages during pre-planning. Look at every major stadium built in the last 10 years.
We’d have to have the construction started by this time next year for it to have any chance.
It’s not impossible but things would have to come together very quickly and experience 0 hiccups along the way.
Brentfords ground took 2.5 years during the construction phase and that’s tiny in comparison to our plans.
Evertons ground took 9 years in the making. Spurs new ground was planned since 2007. Both their grounds took almost 4 years to construct.
