Confirmed Man United XI vs Bournemouth: Mazraoui out due to illness & Sesko decision made

0 11

Manchester United head coach Michael Carrick has unveiled his starting XI for today’s Premier League clash against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.

The Red Devils are in scintillating form, losing just once under Carrick.

Bournemouth are no pushovers, boasting an impressive run with their last league loss dating back to January 3.

Carrick has opted for continuity, naming the same XI that brushed aside Aston Villa last weekend.

Senne Lammens retains his spot in goal after a string of assured performances in recent months.

Diogo Dalot continues at right-back, while Luke Shaw slots in on the left.

Dalot delivered an impressive display in the reverse fixture in December.

With Lisandro Martinez and Matthijs de Ligt sidelined, Leny Yoro partners Harry Maguire at the heart of the defence.

Maguire steps onto the pitch full of confidence after sealing a recall to the England national football team squad for the upcoming international break.

Casemiro, Kobbie Mainoo and Bruno Fernandes start in the midfield.

Fernandes is closing in on history, sitting just five assists away from rewriting the Premier League record books.

Matheus Cunha, fresh from a thunderous strike against Villa, will be eager to make his mark again from the left flank. Amad Diallo keeps his place on the opposite wing, while Bryan Mbeumo once again leads the line.

Benjamin Sesko is expected to come off the bench in the second half.

There is one notable change on the bench, with Tyler Fredricson coming in for Noussair Mazraoui, who misses out through illness.

Confirmed Man United line-up (4-2-3-1): Senne Lammens; Diogo Dalot, Harry Maguire, Leny Yoro, Luke Shaw; Casemiro, Kobbie Mainoo; Bruno Fernandes, Amad Diallo, Bryan Mbeumo; Matheus Cunha.
