However, there is one leading candidate for the permanent managerial role in the summer, with reports claiming that the Tottenham hierarchy has already reached out to Pochettino regarding returning to the club.
It has been six and a half years since the Argentine left the club, and he is expected to be on the market this summer as his contract with the United States runs out after the World Cup.

This is because the senior United figures expected Pochettino to return to Spurs when his contract with United States runs out.
