Video: Kvaratskhelia’s first goal against Chelsea compared to Napoli 4-0 Monza strike
Former Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia said that the first goal he scored for Paris Saint-Germain against Chelsea in the Champions League on Wednesday night reminded him of a goal he once scored for the Partenopei against Monza in Serie A. Here is a look at the two wonderful strikes from the Georgian.

Kvaratskhelia started among the substitutes, but emerged off the bench to change the game in PSG’s eventual 5-2 victory over Chelsea in the first leg of their Champions League round of 16 tie on Wednesday night.
The scores were level at 2-2 at the time of Kvaratskhelia’s introduction, but the Georgian came on to change the game, providing two goals and an assist to help his side to a convincing 5-2 scoreline.
The first goal that Kvaratskhelia scored on the night was a particularly special finish, cutting in off the left flank onto his preferred right foot before slamming a bending effort right into the side netting.
“My first goal tonight reminded me of the one I scored at the Maradona against Monza,” Kvaratskhelia noted after full-time. “It was essential to win,” he continued. “I’m happy with the brace but now I’m looking forward to the next game.”
The goal that ‘Kvara’ was referring to came in a 4-0 against Monza at the Stadio Maradona during Napoli’s 2022-23 Scudetto-winning campaign.
