Antonin Kinsky breaks silence on 15-minute Tottenham nightmare with message to fans
Antonin Kinsky has spoken publicly for the first time since his difficult night against Atletico Madrid, with the Tottenham goalkeeper addressing supporters following the early errors that led to his substitution.
Antonin Kinsky earned his first start in a Tottenham shirt for the first time since last year on Tuesday night against Atletico Madrid in the round of 16 of the Champions League.
But what was supposed to be a proud moment quickly became a night to forget for the young Spurs shot-stopper, who made two big mistakes early in the tie, which saw Atletico Madrid go 3-0 up after just 16 minutes.
His woes were compounded further as he was substituted right after the third goal, with Igor Tudor explaining that it was a decision he needed to make to “preserve the guy and the team“.

Antonin Kinsky receives support from David De Gea
It is really nice to see that the Tottenham goalkeeper is at least doing his best to move past what is a moment he ought to forget. At this level and at his age, mistakes are normal, but he must learn from them if he is to become a top professional.
Former Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea was among those who sent a message of support to the Czech international.
In a tweet on X, he wrote: “No one who has not been a goalkeeper can understand how difficult it is to play in this position. Keep your head up and you will go again.”
