AHEAD OF THE GAME: Truro City (A)

Truro City vs Woking

Enterprise National League

Tuesday 10th February

19:45 Kick-Off

The Cards are back on the road on Tuesday evening, facing a Truro City side who currently sit in 22nd, and as such are in search of vital points as they attempt to rise out of relegation.

With the weather forcing postponement over the weekend, Woking have been out of action since their 4-2 loss against Forest Green Rovers last Tuesday.

At The New Lawn Stadium, early goals from Sanderson and Gbodé saw the Cards in at the half with a 2-1 lead, but Woking suffered defeat at the hands of three second-half goals from the hosts.

Neal Ardley’s side will now look to bounce back in Cornwall, hoping to reinstate the away form which saw the Cards unbeaten on the road in six consecutive league games towards the end of last year.

The reverse fixture, played in October, came to a dramatic end as a 77th-minute equaliser from the Tinners cancelled out Beautyman’s first-half goal, before they then took the lead with three minutes to play. With time running out, Beautyman ensured the points were shared, converting from the spot to cap off a player of the match performance.

Still searching for their first away league win of 2026, the Cards will hope to triumph over Truro and bring all three points back to Surrey.

Opposition Watch

A tense end to the 2024/25 National League South campaign saw Truro City in a battle in which any of the top six could have snatched the title on the final matchday.

With a 5-2 victory against St Albans City, the Tinners made history by becoming the first club from Cornwall to win promotion to the National League, beating Torquay United to the top spot on goal difference.

Despite a tough campaign while adapting to life in the National League, they welcome Woking boasting a five-game unbeaten run at home. In this period, they have also taken points off of play-off hopefuls Forest Green Rovers, with a 1-1 draw on the road.

They also made the final four of the League Cup, facing Boreham Wood at Meadow Park later this month as they battle it out for a place in the final.
