Andrews joined the Sky Blues at 11 years old, and made his professional debut in a 3-0 victory over Middlesbrough in August 2023 aged 17 before making one more appearance in the 2023/24 season in a 5-0 win over Rotherham.
In January 2025, he signed with Motherwell for the second half of the 2024/25 campaign; going on to make 11 league appearances for the North Lanarkshire club.
He was scouted by Motherwell in November 2024 at an U19 European Championship Qualifier as Wales took on Scotland at Forthbank Stadium; with the midfielder scoring days later against Liechtenstein, also.

Andrews’ standout performance followed weeks later at Ibrox as he put in an excellent showing in a 2-1 win over Rangers in holding midfield.
After his productive loan spell at Fir Park concluded, the 6’1” midfielder spent the first half of this season back at Coventry – who are currently first-place in the Championship under the management of Frank Lampard – and has made 10 appearances across all competitions.
The English-born midfielder represents Wales internationally, playing at both U17 and U19 level before earning his first call-up for the senior team in March 2025. Selected for FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Kazakhstan and North Macedonia, he would have to wait until September to earn his first cap.
After impressing Wales boss Craig Bellamy, Andrews made his international debut as a 70th-minute substitute against Canada – just five minutes after new teammate Junior Hoilett was introduced for the opposition – in an international friendly match in Swansea.
