According to both newspapers, Carrasco is ready to take a pay cut to move to the Olimpico, so his representatives will try to persuade Al-Shabab to reach an agreement with Roma. Carrasco earns €6.5m plus add-ons per season at the Saudi Pro League club.

The Giallorossi have already explored a possible loan move for the ex-Atletico Madrid winger and will continue talks with Al-Shabab later this week, after their Europa League game against Panathinaikos on Thursday.
