January 27 – Former FIFA President Sepp Blatter has suggested that fans across the globe should not travel to the United States this summer for the World Cup due to the current political situation in the country.
The U.S. will co-host this summer’s global finals with neighbours Mexico and Canada, but security concerns are rising after the deaths of Renee Good and Alex Pretti following interaction with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
