Seahawks GM’s Old Comments About Eliot Wolf Resurface Ahead Of Super Bowl

The New England Patriots won another ugly playoff game in the AFC Championship Game, but their 10-7 victory over the Denver Broncos was enough for them to punch their ticket to Super Bowl LX. Now, a challenging matchup against the Seattle Seahawks awaits them.

The big storyline that everyone is going to harp on ahead of this game is that it is a rematch of Super Bowl XLIX, which saw the Pats prevail by a score of 28-24. However, these two teams look nothing alike from the last time they met in the big game.

That can be seen when looking at the front offices of these teams, as they are led by Eliot Wolf in New England and John Schneider in Seattle. Wolf and Schneider are very familiar with each other from their time with the Green Bay Packers, and some old comments Schneider made about Wolf have resurfaced ahead of this game.

“I used to babysit him,” Schneider hilariously revealed back in 2024. “He was always around us. He was always in the draft room with us, he was always sitting in our offices, always taking as much information as he possibly could, always had very strong opinions.”

Schneider turned himself into a top general manager candidate back when he worked for Eliot’s father, Ron Wolf, in the Packers’ front office. Eliot also got his start working for his father, meaning he and Schneider are very familiar with each other.

Now, these two guys will see their teams square off against each other with a championship on the line. Kickoff for Super Bowl LX is scheduled for Sunday, February 8, at 6:30 p.m. ET.
